I've always hated Lou Rawls for that song !

I heard the song today on the radio and for many years, I've always got a strange feeling when I heard it ...Ever since I was young I didn't relate to it and gettin older and in my early twenties I began to understand what was so annoying about this song.. Don't get me wrong - Lou Rawls has an excellent voice and I understand the song came out in 1977 ; I think when someone would introduce this song into the pop charts these days, only a band like the Bloodhound Gang could get away with it !
