First musical memory ?

What's your first musical memory ?
For me it's this song from Mud and Rock your Baby from George McCrae .
Strange thing is - even though you were  like 3 or 4 years old at that time, you are able to sing along with the lyrics today ; how funny is that ?

Meanwhile, I'm swimming through this week cause it hasn't stopped raining. And just when you think the sun is popping out, your back in the real world for the next cloud stopping above your head.
It looks like it's bloody Autumn !
Been having the heat on in my shop these last 2 days ; not normal at all !
Everybody seems cranky and more stressed ; even in my house nobody acts normal !
So let's just blame it on the rain, shall we ?
I'm looking forward to tomorrow evening ; we finally get to do our visit to the house of Joël and Virginie !
A LOT happened since their actual invitation ; they sure got some reason to stress !
Maybe, if they are ok with it, I'll post some pics on Saturday !
They have a cute little puppy too, Joy !
What's in a name...

Today Henny, a Dutch stylist who actually lives in the same street as Joël and V., came in with her dog, Jansen.
She has a wonderful house ; it has been the subject in many mags and she has 2 little downstairs windows (here it's called a 'souterrain') where she makes tiny displays for the people passing by. She has quite some fans already, including me...She changes it frequently and she ADORES the colour white.
Now, hopefully I don't forget and the weather stays clear, when I'm headed for J & V, I'll try to take pics from her house too.

Rock Your Baby, what a great musical memory!
Yeah, how about this weather? The garden is doing really well though. Strange thing is, we haven't seen any bees this year. Cute Hubby says it's the "end". shivers
Your friend's window sounds so cute. I would love to see a photo of it. xo

@Diane
yes, and she always makes an effort in making the most of it !
Will sure post it on Saturday, if I'm able to make a decent picture (I'm dreading the rain, I don't see myself taking outdoor pics holding a camera & umbrella all together ;-/

Ha ha, I can't blame you for that, I know how much you hate umbrellas. xo

I was 3 and my sister was 13, she taught me how to sing and dance to "Do the Locomotion". Apparently it was very cute because of the line, "my little baby sister can do it with ease". Check it here if you're not familiar with it. This is the original version from the 60's.
