Musée d'Orsay

The magical clock of the former trainstation

The lovely restaurant space in the museum - the clock really worked - I was seated just in front of the clock - each minute I heard the pointer make a noise and move over to the next minute

Some pieces of the Art Nouveau and Art Déco rooms - in Brussels you have a special route where you can see houses designed by Victor Horta. In Antwerp you must visit the Horta café where original pieces of the Innovation of Brussels were re-used after a fierce fire that ruined the entire building...

The museum is too grand to visit in 1 day ; but this work 'le déjeuner sur l'herbe' of Manet, I really wanted to see for real...

Soooo jealous. We have a coal mining museum here, but it doesn't have a restaurant attached to it, and it's really dark and dusty. I'm glad you're having such a good time in "the land of Oz". When do you return back home?

That Manet painting! I studied it in school at one point I can proudly say that I could spell its original french name correctly ;) I'm so envious that you get to see it IRL..but then Paris is a place for all things magical! :D
