Second hand - Vintage
One of my secret hobby's has always been to go on a "queeste" for that something special and especially the old stuff...
Everybody has a secret address that they only want to share with their closest of friends...
Well, mine is Ann-vers (pronounced as Anvers, French for Antwerp) - it's a vintage - second hand shop for luxury goods...
You always have to be very quick, cause what lies in her window display before 11 o'clock, can be sold at 11.10...
That's what happened to me last week...Went for my breakfast at Cook & Boon (post will follow later) and took a swift peak-a-boo before she opened...My eye fell on this gorgeous brown Chanel jacket, just my size and I was so over the moon that I saw this one first, I closed my shop at 11 for a quick delivery (that's what it said on my door - am I terrible, an addict ?...:-O
Ran to Ann-vers and OMG, this Vicky Pollard - look a-like woman, had set her claws on that jacket just 5 minutes before me...
As my friend H. would say ; and she wasn't even Chanel worthy ....(cry baby cry)
Now fortunately I have large feet (39 for 5'4") I also had my eyes on a pair of (almost) brand new Hermès loafers...black nubuck leather...it said 39,5 on the sole and they fit me !!
I'll leave you with a few pictures of the finds and bargons I found before at Ann-vers...
from feet to top :
Hermès loafers
Delvaux bag
Weill coat
and a vintage bracelet that used to belong to my grandmother
PS to celebrate the Hermès loafers, I've brought home some 'petit fours' from our bakery...and I think my children enjoyed them..:-)

Dominica,
From Brazil a friendly hello with my best wishes:
Geraldo
What amazing finds! You look great in yellow!
And the petits fours look delicious.
Oh Dominica your goodies look absolutely adorable... and the sweets do to... LOL..
Thanks for your compliments! Yes, they are peep toe.. Had it been warmer I would not have worn hose.. so my honey thought the shiny ones where a good set off point.. LOL.. yes, he is complete! LOL Especially for an American football/basketball fan.. LOL ;)
BTW - Lovely blog... I will be following you!
Dominica! You are a trip! I started to laugh when I read that you closed your store for "a delivery" just to get the coat...hahaha! I would've done the same!
I had no idea you have a bakery, now I like you even more! ;-) And that little blondie angel in the back of the picture is one your kids?
You gave me a great idea. I will look into that kind of store in NYP when I go there this weekend. I will let you know what I found! ;-)
@Alessandra
LOL I don't have a bakery but in the posts of this last few weeks I mentioned my friend H. and her love for a specific bakery...
I own a childrens vintage store and if you take a look at the latest post in IHEARTFASHION's blog, you will see what other goodies I sell too..
In the French magazine you'll see this striped deer, that's something we have too in my shop that's called OH DEER, in fact ...(will be online soon btw)
@that girl ang
it's just great these days we CAN wear peep-toe shoes with hose or tights...there are just no limits anymore in fashion..isn't that great ?
